To boost a languishing stock and generate acquisition interest we had to get Mark Andreessen’s new company’s brilliant, but complex, “zero latency” story down to bite-size for a press and analyst day—without oversimplifying. Our efforts paid off. The day after the event the stock had a nice bump, and a few months later the company was acquired by HP.
